2020 marks 40 years in practice!
Last year, while I was volunteering at Pima Animal Care Center, I met a handsome little chihuahua with a broken pelvis. In most cases, pets this severely hurt would have to be euthanized.
I brought him to Northwest Pet Clinic where we named him “Elvis with the Broken Pelvis”. We performed surgery on Elvis and he went through several weeks of rehabilitation. Once he was “Elvis with the Fixed Pelvis”, we posted him on our social media channels. That sweet baby found a family in no time at all. This is only one of several pets we have been able to help due to the generous support we have received for our non-profit, Veterinary Care Foundation.
We love what we do and the community we serve! To celebrate our big 4-0, we want to help 40 homeless pets just like Elvis who are otherwise unadoptable due to health issues find forever families. It is our 40 for 40 Initiative! We have partnered with Pima Animal Care Center to find pets who need medical care before they can be adopted.
These pets will be highlighted and shared on their road to recovery on our website and social media channels, but we need your help to reach this ambitious goal!
There are two ways you can help!
- Share our posts and get the word out to help these babies find their furrever families!
- Donate to our non-profit and help provide the surgeries, medications, and treatments these pets need to be adoptable! *To donate, click here.
We thank you and look forward to the next decade of partnering with you to improve the health and happiness of the pets in our community.
