Rachel Baker
Customer Service Representative
Rachel was born in San Diego, California and loved living between California and Tucson while growing up. She has always had a love for animals and started her veterinary career at Northwest Pet Clinic as a Customer Service Representative in 2011. She has an ever growing love and passion for her career.
Rachel's goal is to further her education in the veterinary field by learning all aspects and eventually becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. She enjoys working with animals because she feels since our pets can't tell us what is wrong with them it is up to us to help them. Rachel enjoys her very rewarding career.
In her spare time she enjoys hiking, country swing dancing, playing guitar and reading, as well as spending time with her friends and family. She has two darling kiddos and her family kitty cat, Jingle (otherwise known as Rotten).

Stephanie McKinney
Customer Service Representative
Stephanie was born and raised in Tucson. Her love of animals started at the young age of four, with her first puppy. In 2009 she started her veterinary career, at Northwest Pet Clinic, as a Customer Service Representative.
Stephanie's appreciates all areas of working with animals, especially interacting with pets and their people.
When not spending time with her family, friends, cute little boy and two sweet dogs (Bernie & Lily), she can be found hiking, running, reading and world class eating.

Laura Rice
Front Office Supervisor & Media Manager
Certified Veterinary Technician
Laura has lived in Arizona since 1991 and has worked over 17 years in the veterinary field. She started her first career in Commercial Art and Graphic Design in the early 90's, after 4 years of college. There wasn't much time between designing cabinetry for a local Veterinary office and meeting the doctor that she started her first job in animal medicine. Laura was drawn into this exciting, growing and ever changing field in 1994-1995. She attended Pima Medical Institute to gain a foundation while working and doing an internship at the clinic she called home for eight years. Starting off as a veterinary assistant, working up to a staff trainer, on to office management and then running an entire hospital.
After being the Hospital Administrator of a beautiful and progressive veterinary clinic in Tucson, Laura decided to step down and take some time with her teenage children and horses, as well as to manage her own consulting business. Laura missed the every day excitement of general practiceand after meeting up with the owners of Northwest Pet Clinic, things changed f in Laura's job path, and have been going strong since.
Laura began in 2011 as our Front Office Supervisor and Media Manager. Working closely with the clients and team members is what keeps Laura enjoying this field, as well as working with the website and social media.
When not at work, Laura maintains social media and marketing for other companies, which includes websites, facebook and day to day desktop publishing. Along with being co-owner of her daughters business, "Kowpoke Kreations", she can be found spending time at barrel races and gymkhanas.
Living on an acre and a half enables Laura to share her life with many critters. Four Quarter Horses, Buddy, Kenny, Freckles and DC. Six dogs, Buster Brown, Belle, Swade, Pebee, Zoa and Sena. Two cats, Gato and Yazzi, five chickens, Summer, Flower, Ebles, Optumus Prime and Spring. Not to mention a tortoise, Tacatio and a turtle, Tacito, a bunny named Tommy and numerous gold fish.

Victoria Rojas
Customer Service Representative
Victoria, aka Vicky, has always had a passion for helping both people and animals. She obtained her excellent customer service skills working in diverse retail environments. She has been with Northwest Pet Clinic since 2011 and shares her vocabulary knowledge and EMT experience with her team members.
Vicky is continuing her education at Pima Community College, where she is in the process of obtaining degrees in Veterinary Technology and Nursing.
Vicky shares her house with the two special men in her life, her son Gabriel and her fiancee Alex. Plus her two cute dogs Fergie, a Papillion, and Paisley, a lab shep mix. In her spare time Vicky enjoys going to the gym, camping, karaoke and playing the violin.

Joe Troy
Hospital Maintenance
Joe had spent twenty four years working on the "people hospital" scene. He worked in security, custodial and as a dispatcher/hospital operator.
Joe has been an important part of Northwest Pet Clinic since 2011. It's important to Joe that the hospital is clean, safe and functional, for our team members and clients. This shows by our beautiful facilities and from Joe's past experience and the new skills he has acquired.
Joe and his wife Terrill, have raised snakes, rats, ferrets, dogs and even children.

Anna Anderson
Veterinary Assistant
Anna was born and has spent all of her life in Tucson. She has been fascinated with her own animals, as long as she can remember, and has always wanted to be a veterinary assistant.
Pima Medical Institute was where Anna graduated and received her certification as a veterinary assistant. She completed her internship at a local veterinary clinic, where she worked hard and gained a great foundation for her future in the field.
The United States Army looked new and exciting to Anna, she wanted to travel and see new places. After 9 weeks of being in the Army, Anna was medically discharged, returned back to Tucson and expecting her first child. A little boy, who is almost a year old now.
Being a stay at home mom for the first 8 months was extremely gratifying for Anna, but she realized she wanted to put her certification, as a veterinary assistant, to good use. After some searching she discovered Northwest Pet Clinic. Being new to the field and striving to learn more, Anna fit right in to our family at Northwest Pet Clinic. Which, next to her son, has been one of the greatest experiences of her life.
With the support of a wonderful family and great opportunity at Northwest Pet Clinic, Anna hopes to accomplish learning every aspect of veterinary medicine and to have many great strides toward her future.

Melissa Boyster
Certified Veterinary Technician
Melissa grew up spending most of her life living on a farm in North Carolina. She moved to Tucson in 2008 with her husband who is in the United States Air Force.
Melissa has been working in the Veterinary field since 2006 and recently became a Certified Veterinary Technician. Having a strong passion for continuing education and helping pets and people, she hopes to become a Veterinarian and work with large animals.
When they are not hiking, fishing, eing outdoors and horse back riding, Wiley and Crystal are the pups that spend all their extra time with Melissa and her husband.

Kristin Ducat
Technician Supervisor
Veterinary Assistant
Kristin joined the Northwest Pet Clinic team in 2009. She graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at Apollo College.
A passion for animals is something Kristin has had since a child and feels very lucky to be in a field where she is able to help the healthy, stay healthy. She enjoys learning new and better ways to care for animals.
Kristin was in 4H as a young girl, where she showed horses and started riding at a very young age.
In her spare time she enjoys country swing dancing, hiking, horse back riding, being out doors and spending quality time with her son, Xavier and two dogs, Ruger and Deacon.

Sheri Fiolek
Veterinary Assistant
Sheri is a Tucson native and started her career in Veterinary medicine when she joined Northwest Pet Clinic in 1997. This spring she will be attending Pima Medical Institute to further her career as a Veterinary Assistant and to obtain her Certified Veterinary Technician license. Sheri hopes to expand her career and bring her love for animals to a full circle by helping with animal rescue.
Sheri enjoys the opportunity to work with all of the animals seen at Northwest Pet Clinic, along with the knowledgeable doctors and staff that care for them. She has a passion and deep connection with our feline friends.

Danielle LaPointe
Veterinary Assistant
Daniells is currently a full time student at Pima Community College, working toward a career in Veterinary Medicine. She would ultimately like to work in wildlife rehabilitation and repopulating endangered species.
For the past nine months, Danielle has been working as a veterinary technician for Northwest Pet Clinic. Her passion for animals began as a child at four years old. While living in Pennsylvania she found a snake living in her garden (non-venomous, thankfully). Danielle was so excited about her new friend, she raced inside and emptied out her Barbie travel box to create a carrier for "her snake". Unfortunately her fun ended when her mother discovered her talking to the box and insisted she let him go back to his backyard home.
To this day, Danielle does not have any snakes but she shares her loving home with her two dogs, Buddha and Waffles. She just adores them and is thankful everyday that "they" rescued her.

Nicole Ragsdale
Technician Supervisor
Veterinary Assistant
Nicole has worked in the veterinary field for 20 years and with Northwest Pet Clinic since 2010. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 1992 as a veterinary assistant and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 1994. Then continued her education at the University of Arizona in 1997 & obtained a Bachelors in Animal Science.
On a personal note, Nicole is the proud mother of two children. In addition to her two wonderful human children, she is also “mom” to 2 dogs, Jack the Pom and Dagger the Catahoula and not to forget her cat mitten.
When Nicole is taking a day off from her rewarding career she can be found hiking in the Arizona desert and playing softball.

Alicia Toral
Veterinary Assistant
Alicia was born in Mexico and moved to Tucson at the young age of seven. Her love for animals was influenced by her father. She had always wanted to work in the veterinary field and with a little coaxing from her dad, Alicia attended Pima Medical Institute and graduated with Honors in 2010.
Alicia brought the strengths of the schooling she received and started with Northwest Pet Clinic in 2010. Her goal is to continue her education and become a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Her compassion for all animals shows, with the love of her Pitbull, Harley, American Bull Dog, Ariels, Tabby, Mandy and Nile Monitor, M.face. On her days off she can be found spending time with her family, hiking, visiting the Desert Museum and working on her accuracy at the shooting range.

Chelsey Van Sickle
Veterinary Assistant
Chelsey was borin in St. Joseph, Missouri and moved to Tucson in 1997. She had many pets while growing up, this is when Chelsey knew she wanted to be involved the veterinary field.
Chelsey attended Pima Community College and has had a fulfilling career in the veterinary field for 9 years. In 2003 she worked at Northwest Pet Clinic, took a small break, and is now back sharing her skills and talents in the field.
Two doggies, Sadie and Missy, share Chelsey's residence, along with Bella and Mia her two cute kitties. When not at work she likes to swim and spend time at the beach, not in Arizona of course.

Lindsey Ward
Certified Veterinary Technician
Lindsey is a native Tucsonan. As a child, she had kitties, gerbils and rats to play with. Her mother bred and showed Dalmatians, her involvement in helping her mom is what started her passion and love for animals.
In 2007, Lindsey graduated from Pima Community College with a Veterinary Practice Assistant Certificate and shortly thereafter she became employed at Northwest Pet Clinic. Two years later, with hard work, persistence, on the job learning and studying outside work, Lindsey became a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Lindsey shares her household with a Boston Terrier, 3 cats and 2 rats. She also sponsors a FeLV positive kitty at Casa de los Gatos.
