Ask us about our preventative medicine programs.  We can answer all your questions and have many suggestions to keep your pet healthy and parasite free.  We take great pride in our preventative care protocols.  The cornerstone of keeping your pet healthy is the annual wellness examination.  Once a year (or twice a year for geriatric pets), our veterinarians will evaluate the current health condition of your pet, discuss lifestyle and risk factors for disease, and make recommendations for maintaining the healthy status of your pet.  We evaluate diet, dental health, behavior issues, allergies, vaccine protocols, and other health factors, as well as senior pet issues such as arthritis.  Our doctors, along with the Center for Disease Control, recommend yearly internal parasite testing by analyzing a small stool sample during your routine yearly wellness examination.  As a standard, we offer and recommend heartworm testing and medication for prevention.  We also have products to help control external parasites.  We even offer a Baseline Blood panel at a discounted price to catch abnormalities before they are problematic.  Our vaccine protocols are tailored to the individual age and risk factors of your pet.
